While it's certainly
possible for Maul to show up, I wouldn't count on it.
At this point he's still the head of Crimson Dawn, and Vos still has another 2 years before Qi-ra ganks him, so he's around and not yet trapped on Malacor. However, given his reaction to learn Obi-Wan is still alive in Rebels, it would be a bit off if this revelation came off the back of already having seen him as a hermit on the run a few years prior.
Plus on a broader level, I can't see him adding much to the story . . . unless they do a flashback with him on Mandalore I guess, but again, I doubt it.
You didn't see Windu unconscious while falling, lol. It's not conclusive Mace Windu was killed, my points are fair, and I even believe the actor himself Samuel L. Jackson sees it that way as well. Its open the character could return.
Yeah, totally. I'm sure he stopped screaming in abject agony because he was fully conscious and not at all deceased.
Inquisitors are the most pointless characters in Star Wars. They’re whole job is to kill Jedi (which was supposed to be Vader’s job) but because they are poorly trained, they can only kill Padawans. Anything higher and they get killed instantly. This one in Kenobi better wish she doesn’t meet him, or she will be in two pieces a few seconds later.
No, their job was to FIND Jedi. If they ran into anything they couldn't handle, that's when Vader shows up.
The boss has way more important things to do than run around the galaxy, chasing down leads to every broken Knight or half-trained Padawan that slipped the net, which is what most of them are. There were only a handful of actual Masters still in the wind, and if an Inquisitor stumbles onto one and gets themselves killed then that's great for Vader since he now knows where they are. He can always get more bloodhounds, so it's worth sacrificing a few for even a chance at the likes of Kenobi, Yoda, or Ahsoka.
Also keep in mind that by this point, it's been a whole decade, most of the former Jedi still out there are going to be more like Kanan and Cal (before they found their way again) than Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. Lost, broken, alone, out of touch with the force and out of practice with their abilities. So yeah, odds are if a pack of Inquisitors runs across one those, then they would be in serious trouble.
