Looks like first contact with 10-C might not go very well.

Looks like stuff happens this episode. ;)

They should put these at the end of the episodes again
Very much agreed.

My guess is that it’s a two parter, and that this episode will be a lot like Such Sweet Sorrow part 1, There is a Tide or Et In Arcadia part 1; mostly set up for the season finale…. I’m expecting this to be a great episode, but I think the real pay off will come in episode 13

seeing those skeletons/fossils makes me very curious what the descendants, if that's what they are, look like.

Sagan had an interesting take on what a biosphere on a gas giant like Jupiter might be like. It will be interesting to see if the come up with something similar.

I just posted this in last week’s episode teaser by mistake :brickwall:

But anyway, this week’s episode S04E12 is titled Species Ten-C.

With a title like that if we don't meet 10-C this week I will automatically give the episode a 1.
I really want a Nimoy-in-Unification I-style 10c reveal. 5 whole seconds and then gotta wait for the next season.

Which begins midway through another adventure and teases 10c flashbacks all season until finally giving up some crumbs in the finale.

Hmm. Species 10-C. Sounds like a Borg designation. What does 10-C refer to? The sector of space where it was first detected?

Looks like Burnham is reciting the emotional alphabet. Could be useful for negotiations with the new species.

"Something is coming." Hopefully not another Maunder Minimum. This is playing out like Forbidden Planet. Will we find a Dr. Morbius-surrogate in the season finale?

I wish they'd turn up the lights a little inside the Discovery. Not to Enterprise-D levels, but I can feel the Vitamin D leaching from the crew's bones.

Does anyone know the time count on the final two episodes?
