What kind of new Gadgets do you think away teams could use?

GRAPPLING HOOKS

Grappling hooks would be good.
Jet packs would be better.
Counter-grav belts would be best of all.

Grappling hooks might be useful with a simple mechanism... but primary tool would likely use a tractor beam of some kind to achieve that (in case the tractor beam is not accessible or not working, then grappling hook takes over).
I think the jet packs are covered with the thruster boots from the 23rd century (the ones Spock used).
Counter-grav belts?
Do we have an example of those in SF or Trek?
I know life support belts existed in the 24th century, so, humongous advancement would be made in 100 years alone to improve upon that technology and stuff more tech into the belts alone that would improve crewmember safety... but spreading this technology to the entire uniform seems like a better idea - much more space to work with).
The belt could be predominantly used for having 'semi larger stuff' such as pattern buffers, etc. Most of the other stuff can be miniaturized to microscopic levels and just networked together to augment their capabilities - be it power output, storage, etc.

I haven't seen Anti-Grav belts in StarFleet or Star Trek.

But we have plenty of Anti-Grav RC toy vehicles like the one Jonathon Archer was playing with and the little helper robots that Jett Reno made in the 23rd century when she was first introduced.

It's not a stretch to create a Anti-Grav belt from that basic tech.

Oh yeah.
Good point.
Given what was showcased in Disco 23rd century... I wouldn't mind seeing something like that put into a belt at least in the 24ht century... or create multiple smaller versions and put them throughout the surface of the uniform and networked.
Those antigrav units were already extremely small and compact in the 23rd century... In the 24th, I can see it all becoming part of the uniform and networked with other same pieces to augment efficiency, range, capabilities, etc.

In fact, it would have been perfectly fine if we saw updated Trek a little where technology like this is more 'seen' in the 24th century.

One cannot possibly think that just because Janet Reno ended up in the 32nd century, none of her inventions were adopted by SF. She would have written up a report on them and submitted it to SF (I mean, she'd have to document how she saved them).
Plus, seeing those 'little guys' wasn't that out of the ordinary for Disco away team because SF already used similar technology in that time.

Telescopic staff like the Rangers do on Babylon 5. Can't go wrong with a big stick- poking, hitting, prodding. AD&D taught me, 10 foot pole. Essential.

Integrating it into the uniform doesn't make sense.

Just make it a simple Parachute style strap rig that wraps around your chest, waist, & legs.

Literally go back and watch TimeTrax, they had a similar setup.

It can even be disguised as having a "Parachute" in the backup, which it would, as a backup.

One of many useful tools you can make with 24th century tech.

We are getting closer to that:

You don’t need a small eyepiece for a microscope:

The Human Genome has been mapped and there is now a human cell atlas…several other types of medical atlas types filmmakers could use for content perhaps. To show Data’s brain they used stock footage that could be replaced with more recent finds for future remastered episodes.

A real cloak

"Our research provides the recipe for structuring a material in such a way that light beams pass as if neither the material, nor the very region of space it occupies, existed. Not even the fictitious cloaking devices of the Romulans can do that," says co-author Dr. Matthias Heinrich, circling back to the final frontier of Star Trek.

Controlling sound

To their surprise, they discovered new mechanisms, so-called "geometric phases," with which they can manipulate and transmit sound in systems where that was thought to be impossible.
