They're definitely focusing on the action with that one. Worked for me, I'm sold.

At first I was off-put by the electro but on the second viewing I was all about it, lol. I thought I was playing music on some other app at the same time before realizing it was coming from the teaser itself.

The blue stuff is probably a drug of some kind, and the white eyes could be a mandatory feature of synths so you can easily see who's a synth...

The background for the "I'm here to save the entire galaxy" scene looks like the interrogation room(?) from one of the earlier trailers so I get the feeling it's not going to be played straight in context. 500 quatloos says the cop responds with a line that can be read as jokey self-aware commentary about New Trek.
