Ok, so not in Guinan's bar then, but, when they go to 2024. Maybe when Seven hijacks that police cruiser, she's messing with the radio trying to figure out how to work the thing and we hear about it.
Cosplay. He's going to the LA Comic Con. That being said, when Picard beams down after they time travel (1:08 in the trailer), he's clearly standing in front of the alley where her bar is located. I like the evil Galaxy class and Nova class ships. I'm less keen on Guinan running a bar on 10 Forward Avenue. Unless they come up with a clever line that changes my mind.
Yeah, he definitely resembles a Rhaandarite.. but then I still question what he's even doing on Earth in (what appears to be) 2024. We know a NASA Europa mission factors into the plot somehow, I wonder if Q changes something so that this mission makes first contact early and with a race other than Vulcans? I'd be happy with a season that's basically reverse First Contact with sprinkles of Journey Home.
I had the thought after I posted the picture that there's a 1% chance this guy is possessed by the Prophets. They did show off the tablet from The Reckoning in the first trailer, and when Kira is possessed she does have those milky contacts in.
Flashback to Picard's youth, probably? Not sure how that ties into everything else, though..

I just popped in because I got an email about this thread. Anyway, not having read the whole thread yet, I figure Q is not all that observant. He said Picard is older than he thought... uh Q, Picards a freaking Android!
He still looks old.
- The short segments in the trailer made me already weary of the 21st century part.
- Federation ship phasers now have the NuTrek "pew pew" sound effect and the plasma cannon look from ENT.
- Lens flares.
- Bad CGI set extensions:

The unfinished trailer footage is WRONG and HERE ARE MY CHARTS to prove it's a FAILURE anyway!!!
They plan to clean them up on Tuesday.
