I haven't seen one of these around in a while. Surely people still have desktop wallpapers, layouts, and all that fun nerd stuff? Post your current desktop/laptop/phone/tablet.

I'll start because this was a thinly veiled attempt to do exactly that anyway. I have a dual monitor setup, so you'll see the left and right monitor desktops.

Watch Dogs 1
Ah, okay. The map threw me off. It kind of looked like one of the GTA series of games. I haven't played IV in ages. That said, I never finished Watch Dogs, so I never got familiar with the map. Cool wallpaper, though!

A fairly good game up until the mission that required you to chase down some car and stop it if I remember correctly. I got so frustrated repeating it, I gave up and never finished the game. All it takes is one unfair, super-hard mission or part to crack an otherwise decent game and cause players to turn away from it.

Did you ever do it? If it's the one I am thinking of I ended up buying a grenade launcher and hitting the car at one point disabling it.

There was also one mission where one of the bad guys nicks off in a fire truck and the same tactic worked for that one too.

It was a few years ago so I'm kind of fuzzy on the details I just remember you either had to catch some guys driving away or get away from them yourselves and the only way to do it was to be faster (and not run into anything to slow you down) or something about trying to stop the other car by blowing up the street just as the car passed over it. I could not do either and eventually gave up in frustration after a dozen attempts. I do think it happened pretty late in the game, so it sucks that I likely got almost all the way through it only to run into some programmer's sadism. I really hate games designed with that that one hair-pulling level that makes me give up on the whole thing. It makes it even worse when a game has no cheat codes or a way to mode the gameplay. Pretty much as a result of that I don't rate the game as high as the critics seemed to have and why I never bought the sequel. Maybe someday I'll go back to it.

Yeah I felt that way after many attempts, I almost gave up on it for the same reasons but then decided to go weapons shopping and on a hunch tried the grenade launcher, worked a treat.

I gave up on the second game because they dropped the ball with the story a bit and not even interested in the third game. Since WD and Assassin's Creed are set inside the same universe I was really, really hoping against hope that the Templars were the ones behind Blume and CTOS...... They didn't even hint at it and we never found out who the people pulling the strings were beyond "faceless corporation"
