What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Some more controversial opinions:
* Jean-Luc Picard is the least-interesting part of TNG, which itself isn't all that interesting
* Q worked so much better in Q-Less and on Voyager than he ever did on TNG

This was peak Q Continuum:

Death Wish is fantastic, but I give the nod to Tapestry.

Other than Death Wish, Q on Voyager was pretty mediocre.

Better than he was on Deep Space Nine though. That was a real stylistic clash where nobody comes off well, though it does contain a prime example of O'Brien swearing.

Gotta disagree.

Q is at his absolute best in all 3 of his appearances on Voyager, and I honestly attribute that to his appearance in Q-Less because that episode very much sets up his behavior on Voyager.

I'll put Q-Who and Tapestry against The Q and the Grey and Q2 any day of the week. It's not even close.

"Aunt Kathy" my ass...

I really want to like those episodes, but as a non-American the civil war imagery in "The Q and the Grey" leaves me cold, and "Q2" is nowhere near as charming or as funny as it thinks it is.

"Deathwish", however, has a good claim to be the best Q episode in the history of Trek. So, on average...

"Q2" is hot garbage. Except for the Kirk references and finally establishing in canon that his five-year mission depicted in TOS ended in 2270 and not 2269.

Oh, and this moment:

I don't like Q and even I thought that "The Q and the Grey" pretty much ruined the Q as a species. From the silly setting to the fact that it pretty muchg turned them into Pagan gods. And that lame "that was it??" joke at the end

That moment is nonsense. Why would the Q give a rats ass about provoking the Borg?

Because the one time Q decided to provoke the Borg, he was stripped of his powers because of it. The Continuum itself was upset because the provocation changed the balance of power and led to multiple attempts by the Borg to conquer the Federation. Probably because it messed up their ongoing humanity trial.

I would be fine with a Georgiou show about her seeking redemption for her past while serving as an agent of Starfleet Intelligence.

I just don't want it to be Section 31, because Section 31 A) should not be glorified or portrayed as the good guys, and B) should be a secret cabal within Starfleet rather than an official division of Starfleet.
