Look! Up in the sky! It sure as heck ain't no bird! Admiral2 must've been looking up at just the right time to come up with this month's challenge, an homage to both Matt Jefferies and his aviation art, and to the classic time travel episode "Tomorrow is Yesterday." Clearly, he struck a chord with the folks around here, who turned out in droves (or is that "in flews?") to show their visions of Enterprise encountering air superiority in the skies of Earth. Now, everyone to the flight line and set your targets (here it only takes two 'kills' to be an ace :thumbsup: ) -- Admiral2 biotech jezor Klaus Klondike307 Orne PatrickIvan Rattrap Skippy2K Starscape TheMacMan --------- Gallery --------- Poll closes 3/3/2008, 11:59 PM BBS time (GMT)
Really tough choices this month. I could have voted for all of them, but after much deliberation I voted for biotech & Skippy2k. Great job everybody.
I went with Klondike307 and Starscape. The WWI biplanes and the funky WWII design are what clinched it.
I had to vote my conscience, and not my ego, and went with Biotech and Klondike, although I appreciate the vote *I* got! {ProfJonathan}
Biotech and PatrickIvan, although Klondike and Skippy were among my choices too. Really came down to some coin tosses, though.
Wow, this has to be one of the most hotly contested challenges ever! What great entires. Klondike and Skippy are my votes for this time around. Great job from everyone, though, I could easily have chosen more to get the votes.
Had to go with biotech and Klondike307 on this, but it was tough! Even with such similar concepts, the interpretations and executions were startlingly different, and there were so many great ideas and presentations. Great job, folks!
Congratulations, biotech! I see you've been 'toying' with an idea for a challenge already . Thanks to everyone who entered and who voted, as well; some nice stuff, as always.
Dang! I wish I hadn't missed the poll! These would have been my votes as well. Anyway, congratulations, biotech!
