Atropos was one of the three Moirai, goddesses of fate and destiny. Atropos was the oldest of the Three Fates, and was known as "the Inflexible One." It was Atropos who chose the manner of death and ended the life of mortals by cutting their threads. She worked along with her two sisters, Clotho, who spun the thread, and Lachesis, who measured the length. Atropos has been featured in several stories such as Atalanta and Achilles.
You beat me to it.

Very enjoyable! Like most everyone else, I wish we'd gotten to see more development with Yaz, especially without Graham and Ryan. My hubby actually mentioned The Key to Time series (linked episodes for a season), but I don't think either of us thought about them *actually* using the Key in a series in 2021. Interesting speculations!

The Glitter Twins obvs have a bedazzler problem, but are also wonderfully creepy. Nice job on the actors' parts.

One detail I did notice the first time round but didn't remember to mention - when the Doctor is talking to not!Strax, and Mrs Seacole tries to interrupt, the Doctor gives her a sharp "Shh!"

The way Mary reacts shows it was the same thing Eleven did to James Corden in "Closing Time" - it only works on less sophisticated minds. So it's funny and it's a past reference... but it's kinda mean to Mary Seacole. Although I guess all human minds are less sophisticated to the Doctor.

.

Plus the ships in the past had a lot of red lighting and the ones in the present had a lot of green lighting. I'm leaning towards multiple "sects" of Sontarans.

Finalised ratings for the week are out now putting it up to 5.1 million.

Or to put it another way; 13th for the week overall but 6th in terms of individual shows.

So next time you see someone talking about how much of a failure the series is, ask them what their definition of success would be!

I thought it was supposed to be the same group at different points in their timeline., creating staging grounds working backwards through time.
I'm no Time Lord but I would think you'd do it the other way around. Go back as far as you can to increase your advantage over your opponent (since their military tech would be less advanced) and then let your success in the past naturally work its way forward. If you control the world in the past, you'll control it in the future as well.

That's how a Time Lord might do it, but these are Sontarans. They want a scrap. Even if the British Empire isn't THAT much of a challenge they will at least fight and die honorably and in their hundreds or thousands. Cavemen? Not so much.

Now why they didn't choose WWI is another matter.

I watched clips haven't seen it yet. But the Mouri did look like the Fendahl and OMG imagine a future Who with them back and modern effects... Please writers bring them back, one of my favourite Who bad guys.

You're not the first person to notice that resemblance! :D

Their General really wanted to ride a horse.
