We keep ending up on the same awesome threads - I hope you know it's because we're also awesome, and not that I'm stalking you...
My mom's Husky, Tasha, did this all the time with my cat Bubba, and would even shake him a little like a toy. She never hurt him, but I think his brains may have gotten a tad scrambled.
https://postimages.org/ & https://imagefra.me/ (< 2MB) are still decent free picture hosts, as long as the images aren't too big.
For me it's never been the issue of finding a free hosting site, but I've just never trusted the idea of storing private photos online where anybody could potentially see them and there is always a digital footprint even if they are deleted. There have been instances of people I've known and heard of having pictures of themselves or family members stolen and posted on another site as well as the ever prevalent data breaches that some sites, Imgur in particular, have suffered from. I know storing and sharing photos on the intertubes and in the cloud is the way of it nowadays, but I prefer to keep them offline on memory cards and only allow others to see the ones that won't compromise privacy. All the other sites and forums I've been a member of allowed direct uploading in a thread or in an album folder on the site, but since that's obviously not the case here, it is what it is. Thanks for trying to help anyway.
IDK, a few pics of one's pets doesn't really seem to be giving away anything private. We do direct image hosting here, but it's a premium membership thing. It's still online of course....
