What’s Discovery doing on the blue line? That should be it’s own thing.Prodigy has been added to a fan-made timeline of the Trek universe.

I know. I just don’t see it. I like to think that a similar story happened, but it looked very different.Discovery, despite the visual reboot, is still considered part of the Prime Timeline. Holo-Janeway even shows the USS Discovery with the other "hero ships" to the kids when they ask about the Federation.
See what? It's part because the people in charge say it's part. That how these thing work.I know. I just don’t see it. I like to think that a similar story happened, but it looked very different.
I still think if they said that Discovery was it’s own thing, it wouldn’t have got as much hate.
We all have our “head canon”.See what? It's part because the people in charge say it's part. That how these thing work.

Wasn't the existence of Discovery erased from Starfleet historical records?

It doesn’t seem to be specifically the Discovery, just a Crossfield Class ship. Though the only two we’ve seen on screen, the Glenn and the Discovery, would both be classified because of their unique spore drive technology, it hasn’t been established that they were the Crossfield Class ships. It’s reasonable to conclude that even after Discovery’s season 2 finale the design was used for ships without including the spore hub technology.

your loss: Beyond is by far the best kelvinverse movie imho.I don't disdain them, but I haven't had the particular desire to seek out Star Trek: Beyond, which remains the only TV/film Star Trek I've never seen (aside from half of TAS, which I found nearly unwatchable).
Star Trek always was.NuTrek is Star Trek in name only. NuTrek is generic space-action in the style of Star Wars.
Neither the Discovery or Glenn were technically classified as starship classes go.
The unique nature of their missions were/might have been.
We know that the Discovery's EXISTENCE was never erased from formal SF records... the records were merely altered for the sake of preserving all life in the Galaxy
