Feline Follies

This is me after having to sit around and wait for a plumber all day.

Oct. 1st was a BIG day for us. We finally made it to having a cat 5 years. Our beloved cat we had when we were first married died a couple months before turning 5. She was a very sick kitty. So when we got an 8 year old cat when our neighbor died. We didn't think we would make it 5 years. She is 13 now. And she had a rough year. First the heat wave, then she lost two claws (which I am still hoping they both come back), and she had a tooth pulled. One things after another and then we were gone two weeks and had to leave her. It is a nice place, but still we missed her, but she is no camping cat or riding cat. So yeah! made it 5 years!! Do any of you have any luck with your cat riding in the car or camping?

Both Smokey (and the late El Bandido) tended to yowl like that cat when I took them to the vet. Didn't like the car one little bit.

Hope everything’s in good working order now.
Unfortunately no.The person that was supposed to come between noon and 6 showed up at 4, sat in his parked van for 5 minutes and then left telling his boss he had completed the job.I think he got fired.
Someone else came at 7:30 but couldn't do anything because it was too dark to get up on the roof.

We moved from DC to California, then six years later to the mid-west. Our cat at the time rode fine in the car, usually stretched out on the rear window deck. The dog, on the other hand, insisted on being in my wife's lap the whole way.

I've found they mainly dislike turns.

Kitt took several trips with us because the Squirt wanted him dead. He either watched out the window or slept in his box. Zak before him had to come to cons with us because of his medications. I rode him on my knee through the lobby of a crowded SF Con and he was fine. It was not the Vet.
