News Star Trek Day Coming September 8

Star Trek: Sliders!

The pilot will deal with the most important issue in all of Star Trek history -- the universe where Bruce Maddox looks like Brian Brophy, and the universe where Maddox looks like John Ales.
It's the universe where Kirk's middle name starts with an R.

They're desperately chasing the teen crowd, which is fine, there are a lot of kids and young women who are NOT annoying and scatterbrained...

And please, I can read social media myself if I want to... / rant over

A lot of KDOC New Year's Eve energy here

There's a place for everyone on the bridge... but the captain will only change the timeline for some of you.

In the Netherlands, I had to get up 02:30 in the night for this..! Looked foreward to it for weeks, but I have to admit that I am somewhat disappointed... I enjoyed the previous online Days more... I find it really odd there was no trailer for DSC S4, especially since it's airing in November..! There also was no real trailer for SNW... Just hoping they're gonna show something REALLY cool for PIC..!

Seriously I was hoping for something along the lines of DC Fandome. I mean its nice, but it feels like a lot of filler.

Unmute, the girlies might stop babbling any time now... no wait, false alarm, sorry. The Seth Meyerss monologue is out.
I'm trying (and failing) not to keep harping on it, but boy, they've been on longer than all the panels combined...
Eh, say what you want about them, but I'll take the enthusiastic babbling over what I'm sure is the equivalent of verbal graffiti vandalizing the comments section. I blocked that comments section out to not see it.

That having been said...

Ugh, those two again. Our friends from the red carpet. Please go away.

Great. Now they're telling us what we've just seen and heard.
"1950s/ 60s style". Fifties, sure, sure.
I feel your pain.

About Uhura, Chapel, and M'Benga, the lines when they could have joined the Enterprise were mentioned in lines that most people don't remember now. For Chapel, she had a career change after her fiancé disappeared, which would be about 2261 ("What Are Little Girls Made Of?"). For Uhura, she was a deep space veteran of 20 years when she was assigned to the Old City Station in 2265. (Star Trek III) M'Benga felt like a new addition to the crew when he was introduced, as McCoy had to inform Kirk that M'Benga had interned in a Vulcan ward. ("A Private Little War")

If there is a Starfleet Academy series, it would be the one new series I would have the least interest in.
