Is there anywhere one can go to find out when and where Star Trek conventions are in 2008 - in the UK though?

Here is a link to Reunion by the people who bring us SF Ball every year. SF Ball has just finished, unfortunately, but Reunion is coming up in September, I think. I think forbidden Planet is a good suggestion, and this website seems to have convention listings, too. Also, look out for SFX etc, they probably have convention listings, too.

^ I think when they do, it's only in the US... actually, from the research I've done on the wiggly web I don't think there are many conventions in the UK. I thought there'd be big events at Excel or similar places, but it doesn't appear so - well not frequently anyways.

In the past Creation have held an annual ST convention in London. There are various Comic & Sci-Fi conventions at Excel I think but I don't know who runs them? Not that frequent though - biannual at best.

I would also check out Creation. They seem to do the most Trek cons and some overseas at times.

However, having checked all the suggestions in this thread - thanks everyone - it seems there just aren't many in England

Perhaps one a year - if that. Much more popular in the US it seems.

I haven't either and I've been a fan for years. My cousin loves them! I suppose with new episodes on TV all the time, I didn't feel the need. But now, with no new shows, perhaps it's time I go.
