Robbie McNeill lends his voice as a guest star in this episode. Apparently, he was in discussion to appear briefly on Picard but he was too busy preparing for the Jonathan Frakes biopic.

Not really.

Anyway, here we go…

So, is the joke here that these four episodes are going to be referenced? Or did he put on a couple more suggestions at the end to throw us off? I get that we're going to Freecloud, and there are probably Kriosians showing up, but what could possibly be recycled from E2? Is this the episode where we meet the older Boimler from the previews?

I'm going to be really really generous and give this episode a 10.

I loved this episode a lot. So many things happened, we got to learn so much about Tendi, and I think the thing I love the most about this series is so many alien cultures are just intermingling with each other. We got Farengi, Tellerites, Orions, and heck, Tom Paris thought he saw the Kazon so I'll include it. I loved following the girl trip, and the twist at the end with the box was great. As for the Boimler story, that was a ton of fun, and they used Tom well as a cameo rather than having him take over the episode. Also, I love the title.

I didn't get the E2 reference though, and I just saw that episode last week.

I am on the other side and, if the poll was on the other side, I would rate it a 2. I didn't enjoy it; it was too frenetic for my tastes.

Why is Paris still a Lieutenant? That’s what bugged me the most.
Also that joke about him flying them to the Delta Quadrant doesn’t work as he wasn’t even piloting the ship at the time.

Liked the episode, but got to be honest: didn't love it, at least not as much as I expected I would... Didn't really like that Shaxs came back, it undermined the season 1 finale I think... Not everything landed as well as it could have, but all in all, there was a lot to like as well. I'm giving this one a 7, hoping for a better episode next week..!
