Despite the fact that it was presented as another Thomas Riker situation, I was left with the impression that Boimler being doubled might be more of an "Enemy Within" scenario. That Titan Boimler seemed more outgoing and attention seeking than "regular" Boimler. He also seemed more amoral with that little trick he pulled. I think its going to reach a point where they have to be reintegrated.

So this collector seemed to be a Zibalian like Kivas Fajo, who likely might have been a member of this Collector's Guild as well. Maybe the Zibalians were the ones who founded this organization?

I don't know about you guys, but I would not be surprised if "Boimler 2" wasn't what he appeared to be. It seem too convenient that he came across a shuttle, escape, and so happens to be in the right place at the right time. Something is off on this one. Could he be related to the recent turn of the Pakleds? Hmmm...

Yeah he reached the shuttle and escaped mere seconds after the other one was beamed up. Also why would Boimler risk his life to go back for a shuttle?

Honestly, while I think he's evil, I assume Boimler's "plan" just consisted of him running past the Pakleds.

Which is entirely possible given they're Pakleds and he's just one guy.

Interesting how you use an extreme example as a means of brushing off a reasonable premise in my statement. Not cool, since you think being modest in public, in reference to the nudity debate, is seen as retrograde in YOUR opinion.
Excuse me? You know nothing of my opinion.

I was simply surprised by your observation that the United States is "unique" in "embracing the concept of "modesty", when it comes to nudity."

It's such a ludicrous assertion on so many levels. You really need to back up a statement like that with some evidence!

Please, man. It's really pronounced Kahless. IDK where the Disco folks got the "sh" from.
They got it from the original creator of the language, Marc Okrand.
They had someone fluent in Marc's Klingon to translate the dialogue and coach the actors on DSC, hence why they used his pronunciations of the words.

The TNG era shows when using any of his words they rarely bothered with providing accurate pronunciations for the actors. They just threw the words into the script and the actors just pronounced it the way they thought it should be based on how it was written. You could always just chalk it up to the Universal Translator making it sound different.

Before DSC, the most accurate use of Klingon was in the TOS movies because those were the movies Marc created the Klingon language for, and he also coached the Klingon actors in them.

Is it really? Is that how real Klingons pronounce it? What do the real Klingons call him?

I don't really care how its pronounced. Maybe there's a New Jersey part of Kronos where they call him Koylish.

myself.. i think SOMEONE needs a fornication helmet.

It's strange because it's at odds with both Treks and it's creators world view
It's not as strange as it is made out to be. Most consumers of media are content to engage with the material as presented on screen. Some may delve in to the creator's worldview but if they don't agree it probably isn't going to alter entertainment choices.

Certainly I do not agree with a lot of Roddenberry's worldview but I still enjoy Star Trek.

I know Lower Decks is a show about Star Trek nerds working on a Star Trek ship and everything's a reference, but come on what are the chances this dead collector guy exclusively collected obscure Star Trek episode and movie stuff?
No reason to think that he "exclusively" collected obscure ST stuff. What we saw was (presumably) a fraction of what is in his collection. And some of it, like Kahless's fornication helmet, presumably wasn't directly from any episode...unless I missed an episode or two.

I thought the Boimler in the Shuttle was the original?

Good point, we don't know if Titan Boimler was the one beamed up or the one who escaped in the shuttle, but the he didn't seem to be acting like typical Boimler at the end.

Also, I don't know if this has been already been brought up, but the giant TOS science officer skeleton is presumably the Giant Spock from The Infinite Vulcan.
