It was a nice, actiony episode. I wonder if we will still be following the Titan now that Boimler has been "John Crichtoned." The Tamarian shifting between the metaphors and the English Language wasn't as funny as it could have been.

Does the moderator change the poll so that we can't see the results? It happened last week where you could see who voted for what, but for some reason that was taken off. I like the ability to change my vote if I do rewatch an episode a few days after it airs. Also, considering how long these threads can get, being able to easily see who voted for what is a lot easier than scanning 5+ pages of this thread.

Care to explain the John Crichton comment? I know its a Farscape reference but need some clarification.

At least we know what happened to giant Spock. RIP
What happened to Boilmer makes no sense. Why would he be demoted? He saved them. That was a bit silly.
The communal shower was another thing I wasn’t a fan of. Felt very militaristic (aka Starship Troopers). They would have separate showers for them.

Ive been thinking about Farscape a lot lately (I talked to GIgi Edgley at the convention) and one of the major plot points of season 3 was John Crichton being cloned, allowing Ben Browder to be in multiple storylines that season. It was the same person but two different paths.

Was Boilmer a senior staff member? That’s quite an accomplishment.

And then poll was changed so you can’t see who voted for what again. When I voted you could and that was less than an hour ago.

I loved this episode! It felt epic, with two action packed storylines..! Liked that we got to meet some of the Titan crew, and when Boimler explains why he joined Starfleet was very touching I think..! I agree with thribs about the shared shower, but I'm guessing that it's for Lower Decks only, and that there are seperate showers too... Maybe people don't make such a fuss out of it in the 24th century?

I wonder if this means TITAN SERIES given all the action and heavily serialized references.

I would love one. Even if it’s just a comic in this art style.

I do think that the last line was meant to parody DISCO and Picard.

Didn't realize Kahless was into sex parties. I'm sure on rewatch, the Easter eggs from this episode will be massive. RIP Spock Two. Lincoln died in the TOS episode, but maybe they kept the body on display (and lost containment at some point so it rotted away?).

Count me as two on confusion as to why Brad lost his promotion. The only thing that makes sense is that he was maybe field promoted to the Titan for service as their conn, but the Cerritos didn't have any openings for a Lt.j.g., so he reverted to his correct rank when he was transferred back. That might also be what happened to Fletcher, who actually was "double-promoted".

Jack Quaid should definitely appear as William Boimler on Picard at some point.

They live communally, so it makes sense to have a large shower area. But, if they're all okay sonic showering together, why bother wearing towels on the way over there?

It's the 24th century, communal showers shouldn't be a big deal along with communal nudity.

They should be largely rid of most puritanical views on the body and sex.

I guess it's a matter of personal maturity.

By the time you're ready for ship board duty, seeing your fellow officers naked & in the shower shouldn't be a big deal.
