So in Zero Hour, Enterprise docks with the Aquatic Cruiser and returns to Earth.

We see Enterprise leaving and the cruiser moving away, however Enterprise discovers Earth is not what it should be.

My question is, when did they get temporaly displaced as we clearly see the Aquatic vessel moving away but nothing in the episode to trigger a temporal shift.

Must've been when the cruiser was far enough away to not notice anything... but it would be awesome to see a sequel where this mighty ship appears at the Xindi planet 200 years in the past XD

What I find puzzling is that Daniels sent Archer to the Germans. I mean of all the places! Plus we see Archer is badly burned. That kind of wound takes months, often more than a year to heal properly and it needs skin surgery otherwise it leaves terrible scars (ask that Cardassian who wanted to kill Kira) and yet in the next episode, Archer is almost completely healed. It's WWII medicine, it doesn't perform miracles like the 22nd century apparently does.

He probably sent him somewhere close to NYC where the conduit construction site was. He was then treated by 29th century Na'Kuhl tech.

Real answer: No one working on the episode cared enough to bother to show the time displacement. Either that, or they just wanted to keep it ambiguous until five seconds later when it was revealed that things were different. Either way, it was just sloppy.

I would imagine that in that timeline, trying to find an area that wasn't under Nazi control would have been rather difficult.

Maybe the Aquatics knew there was a time shift and thought "Fuck it, we've helped you enough"

Maybe, but back then that thought would have been censored...

I’ve always thought that it was Phlox’s pets acting unnerved that was the giveaway.

Daniels' future tech always had seamless transitions between places and times. No effects, you just suddenly realise you're some where/when else. A presume it's the same when they displace starships.

I doubt it. Daniels wouldn't have wanted to strand the Xindi ship in the past, so I presume the Enterprise was displaced after it left their cargo hold.

The Xindi crew might have seen it disappear, though...

I just watched this episode last night and I have the same question. If the Enterprise was in the alternate timeline, what happened to the Aquatic ship? This is one of the reasons I want to see the Xindi return somehow. I feel like there was more to tell with their story and it would be a nice call back specifically to Enterprise.

If Archer had managed to call the aquatic ship back, it would've been part of that plane fight over Manhattan!

Oh man the WWII gets going up against a Xindi Aquatic Ship. Think of the possibilities.

I want the Xindi to be back to just see what the Aquatics and Insectoids would look like with 2021 CGI technology.

Well, for one thing, the CGI are less expensive than they used to be so we could see a lot more of them during the episode.
