They say we should start making provisions because in 20 years from now this great beverage we have each morning or during the day might disappear due to climate change, so in time it will get more expensive and eventually vanish from our lives.
Same as the red wine or the green tea, coffee is rich in antioxidants so it's great for all kind of stuff like digestion, it may prevent some diseases + that it keeps you awake and focused for your tasks.
Had an acquaintance who was drinking more than 8 coffees per day with his regular pack of cigarettes... Probably you drink more, or less....
What's your favorite coffee ? And how do you drink it ?

I mostly have plain brewed coffee and add stuff like cinnamon to it. Specialty coffee drinks are more of a luxury because their other ingredients make them so much more caloric.

Wait, is it time to start hoarding coffee?

I like coffee, but not fancy coffee drinks. And I take it black.

Funny thing is, all these years and I still haven't tasted espresso. Must try it one of these days. I'm sure I'd like it -- I mean, espresso is basically coffee on steroids, right?

I love coffee. More to the point, I need coffee. I couldn't function without it!

That said, I wish there were more Tim Hortonses in America. Their coffee is a lot better than :censored: Starbucks...plus their food is very good as well.

I do like a cup of coffee in the morning, but nothing fancy just your basic instant coffee. As for fancy coffees I rarely splurge on them might get the occasional latte but that's only once or twice a year it's money I would rather spend on something else.

I guess I tried various brands of coffee over the years... also bought a mini-espresso machine with one eye... (a simple one- from Philips) to make espresso at home, but it turned out that - you had to let it heat or keep it turned on and only after 3 or 4 coffees it started to make good coffee with that coffee foam/creme and everything....
The first 3/4 coffees were like heated water and the 5th came out tasty as it should.
Thing was that even I had people in the family, not everyone was drinking coffee so there was no point in "sacrificing" 4 coffees for the 5th, so I kinda quit using it, so right now I'm using the regular moka-pot when I'm at home.
I'd say with a moka-pot you can obtain a pretty great coffee.... a bit better than filtered coffee and a bit less strong than from an espresso machine, but still great coffee....
But when I'm out I'll just buy espresso.

I agree it’s better than Starbucks but I’ll take Dunkins over it any day. Or would go for a local coffee shop or Cafe Nero before either.

Just read a few months ago about the most expensive coffee in the world... called Kopi Luwak....made from partially digested coffee cherries defecated by the Asian civet :)

So a Kopi Luwak coffee cup might cost you somewhere between 40 to 90 $....
Maybe it's worth trying ...

I love coffee. The best starship captains drink coffee. LOL.

I take mine black. Occasionally I'll have an Americano. Black. On rare occasions I'll have a latte of some sort. Vanilla, etc.

At home usually I drink either Julius Meinl (it is an Austrian coffee) made in Vienna - there are 2 types: Prasident and Jubilaum.
I like Jubilaum better for its taste and aroma...
Then there's the Costa (British Coffee) which has a huge variety like 12 types of coffee from different parts of the world and grinded in various ways so they come with different strength indicators...
I like this one : the Colombian Roast .... with a 7 strength indicator...

Needs "Flat White" adding to the poll.

I drink coffee only very occasionally when out. 90% of home produced stuff and instant coffee tastes like garbage, and besides, I really like tea.

I think one reason I've not developed a coffee habit is the "need it" comment earlier. I just don't get that. I've never, ever experienced a buzz, lift, boost to my level of awakeness nor indeed, had any difficulty sleeping after drinking even the strongest coffee.

There's been times when such a boost would've been very much appreciated, but...nada.

Maybe it's more psychological, maybe I don't react to caffeine, I don't know.

Well I tried to add most of the common coffees to the poll, I'm sure we can add a dozen more, but I think these are the most known and for now, will do :)
I drink coffee on a daily basis but something like 1 or 2 max. I don't drink instant coffees either only natural roasted ones.
Maybe each of us react differently to coffee, I won't say awakeness I'd say more like it makes you a bit more agitated and focused. It does this for me especially in the morning.
If I'm in some sort of a sleepy state (due to an early wake up) coffee makes me wake up and helps me concentrate. Of course I never drink it on an empty stomach. First I eat then I drink coffee.
Have friends and also my brother and his wife have this habit of drinking coffee first thing in the morning without eating.
Breakfast for me is important as well as coffee is :)

Flat White's one of the most popular over here, along with latte, but that's probably U.K. specific.

Thing is I like my coffee black .... I don't really drink lattes nor cappuccinos, unless I feel like having a cappuccino with some cinnamon ..... but this happens rarely...
Nowadays they're pouring more milk than coffee in your cup..... they make all those drawings so that you can enjoy an "artistic" coffee.
I quit adding milk because not all the milk they add is natural..... they add all sort of preservatives in milk or milk is made under the UHT procedure.
Usually a milk should expire in 2 or 3 days at most. I have seen milk in packs whose shelf life can be as long as 6 months. So I wonder what is healthy anymore.
That's why I drink my coffee black.
I can't modify my poll anymore.... since I've created it that way - so I can't add more types. Others cannot change their vote either.
