She's just a good listener, like any bartender. And she can spot a temporal anomaly at ten paces.
Well, in the Star Trek universe you can't swing a cat without hitting a spatial/temporal anomaly of one sort or another.

Same. Temporal anomaly spotting isn't enough to make up for general annoyance.hmmmmmm you got me.. I just don't like the character that much.
Guinan is a terrible character. She often speaks in riddles and gives half assed advice, why would anyone go to her for advice but they make it sound like she's some otherworldly person like the Q but you never see any of her otherworldly powers.
Well, except that she hasn't aged a day in five centuries and can sense alternate timelines.
He didn't appear afraid of her. He just wanted to be rid of her. That's being time sensitive, but not really a super power, not like the things a Q can do. We never really were shown why he was scared of her.

I think it is more than her just being a listener like Soran.
She could be a douwd.
I always got the impression that Q being 'afraid' of Guinan was a bit like me being 'afraid' of a yellowjacket. There's no real power comparison and normally speaking, it won't be able to seriously harm me, but I'd rather avoid its sting all the same if I can help it.
What does that have to do with anything Q related? You should be more afraid of bees, because they often leave their stinger in the wound and that can start an infection.
Nah. Got stung yesterday. Checked the wound-no stinger. Cleaned and bandaged. You should be more afraid of bees, because they often leave their stinger in the wound and that can start an infection.
I guess this won't be altogether unpopular but I was thinking the other day, no matter what Trek is produced and by whom, in one hundred years time when Star Trek is referred to in the media of the day it will be images from TOS that they use. And I like that.

Because if Guinan is a wasp to Q, a bee would be... idk a Traveller or something. What does that have to do with anything Q related?
That's untrue. The influence of The Perils of Pauline reverberates today.I don't know. A hundred years ago, the best we had were silent movies and nothing akin to a franchise.
