Service time shenanigans?

Once he's called up to the major-league roster, that automatically starts the clock on his service time, and in any event, the Super Two deadline was way back in the second week of June, I believe.

Anyway, this was for roster purposes. Because Gil was a call-up as a COVID-19 IL replacement, he can be recalled from the minors at any time (normally a player has to spend 10 days in the minors following an option), and he's expected to make another start this coming weekend.
