Just wondering if anyone else besides me still love and prefer the old Directors Edition/Collectors Edition DVDS for the old Star Trek movies?
Earlier today in the mail I got the Directors/Collectors Edition DVD of Wrath of Khan and why I love it is because of the text trivia track and the extra scenes including the hallway scene of Spock and Kirstie Alley talk about Kirk and Spock saying something about not everyone is perfect such as in human from Earth yada yada.
sure the DVD cases are a bit chunky but i jut prefer their bonus features over the newer releases in the slimmer DVD cases which barely have any bonus features

. I continue to hold a sliver of hope that Paramount someday might have a heart and finally allow the effects to be 'fixed' on that one...then I'd buy the Blu-Ray for that. Probably not going to happen, but unless it does, no Blu-Ray for TFF. Take that Paramount
