Sizes of the Filming Models

I've seen photos of the ship models, but never one of the model of the hangar deck.
Has anyone seen a behind the scenes one of it?
There's only a few floating around.
These four are small but informative:

This one shows a portion of the exterior, along with those lighting holes we mentioned upthread:

Finally, one in colour:

Those are great!
Thank you!

(As for a scale model of the hanger deck...
Well, they DO make a scale model of the Eagle Landing pads from Space: 1999...!)

I wonder what those wide structures are under the enclosed walkways. If I didn’t know better, I’d think those are sub-hangers to either side

Franz Joseph had them as "storage pockets" as I recall, plus access points to ladder which led up to the observation galleries.

Yep. You can see doors in them.
I like that all the airtight side doors in the alcoves look like watertight "hatches" on naval ships: fairly narrow with rounded corners and slightly elevated above the deck level.

The problem with making a scale model of the hangar deck is determining the actual size of the shuttlecraft. Enough of us have tackled this issue to know the miniature shuttlecraft seen in the hangar doesn’t represent a vehicle where people can stand upright inside. The miniature represents a vehicle only about 22 ft. long (the large exterior mockup). A miniature that represented a vehicle where personnel could stand upright inside would look distinctly look larger on the flight deck. This isn’t a problem in itself in real world terms, but it would look somewhat different than what we saw on television.
