The least disliked episode 2021 - VOY Season Four

Annorax is similar sounding to a UK slang pejorative term that describes people obsessed in niche items that the general public may not be able to understand... like sci-fi fans...

:D

Whether that's intentional or not for "Year of Hell", that reset button at the end - clever or otherwise - is still too tidy.

The writers were wordplaying off the character Arronax from 20,000 LEAGES UNDER THE SEA.

What if the Doctor in Living Witness was actually shifted to the MU, and the original historical record was right?

I preferred VOY doing a variation of the theme instead of "Hey folks, we're doing the mirror shtick too!" Or avoiding it the way TNG had. DSC had a more interesting take on the MU than DS9 had... But all that aside, putting aside also the fairly reasonable statement that historians will look back and not understand 100% the artifacts, why they're made, and so on, for quite a few fun reasons, the notion that historians could be 100% accurate would be... interesting. But the investigation of mis-perception is far more fascinating, IMHO. But what could really be done with "Oh dear, they were 100% correct?" (now remember Picard's maudlin speech about how history is often rewritten by the victors", etc, etc... )
