Hello, everyone! This thread is pretty simple. What moments in the series just make you laugh? I'm watching "The Magnificent Ferengi" right now, and there are several moments that make me laugh.

    1. Quark and Rom hitting Sisko's office. Sisko's reaction makes it even funnier.
    2. The attempt at making a strike force, and how it went terribly wrong.
    3. Keevan, our candidate for a remake of "Weekend at Bernie's."

So, what are your funny moments?

Waaaay too many to list, but one of my faves is from the otherwise dramatic "It's Only a Paper Moon"...

"How can hiding in one of Julian's adolescent programmes be a good sign?"
    "Hey."
"It could be worse. He could be hiding in the Alamo programme."
"Or that ridiculous secret agent programme."
    "Hey."
    "Or that stupid Viking programme."
    "HEY!"

  3. Are you a Klingon warrior or an Alverian dung beetle?
    (Apocalypse Rising)

i always laugh when Worf are trying to make convincing klingons of Sisko, Brian and Odo....

    Come to Quark's
    Quark's is fun
    Come right now
    Don't walk... run!

And Kira... "If all of your little advertisements aren't purged from our database by the time I return from the Gamma Quadrant, I will come to Quark's, and believe me... I will have fun."

Funnier when you realize he doesn’t truly know Klingons.

That whole scene was brilliant. Quark was clearly considering who would be likely to kill him in a more painful manner; Kira or Worf...

One scene that's funny in a kind of "aww" way is in "Accession" when Keiko let's slip to Miles that Bashir seems depressed, and maybe needs some cheering up. Miles jets out the door at Warp 9. Then Keiko calls up Bashir...

Kira & Dax scenes in "The Siege" when they find the sub-warp ship and get it flying again until the crash.

Worf as puppet master for Quark in "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places" with the bat'leth.

"Tell me, do they still sing songs of The Great Tribble Hunt?" in "Trials and Tribble-ations" and the line-up followed by O'Brien's line about wishing Keiko had seen him lying to Kirk and other parts of the show.

NOG: It's my money, Jake. If you want to bid at the auction, use your own money.
JAKE: I'm human, I don't have any money.
NOG: It's not my fault that your species decided to abandon currency-based economics in favour of some philosophy of self-enhancement.
JAKE: Hey, watch it. There's nothing wrong with our philosophy. We work to better ourselves and the rest of humanity.
NOG: What does that mean exactly?
JAKE: It means. It means we don't need money.
NOG: Well if you don't need money, then you certainly don't need mine.

That and Damar's line, after Worf kills Weyoun 7. Something like "you should've killed me, since they'll just make another clone of him."

Plenty of scenes in "The Magnificent Ferengi"...

For example the first time they make a holosuite rescue simulation and everyone ends up killed including the hostage.

SISKO: Remember, this is a reconnaissance mission. You are to avoid Dominion ships at all cost. I want you back in one piece.

    WORF: What about Garak?

SISKO: I want him back too. I don't suppose I have to tell you to keep a close eye on him.

WORF: At the first sign of betrayal, I will kill him. But I promise to return the body intact.

Worf's deadpan replies are the funniest part of DS9. Alongside Damar's iconic line to Weyoun, yes.
