Spoilers Season 2 Trailers, Previews, and Promos

I admit the uniform Picard is wearing is pretty good. If only he was still in Starfleet

"Time has been broken, and we can save the future. Together."

So new timeline = dystopia? Reset button at end of season? Is this Picard's version of "Year of Hell"? For a whole season? Hope they pull it off!

Q doesn't look asshole enough. Sorry. It's just my opinion.

I was not expecting a trailer drop today, so either I've been under a rock or there were zero clues/rumors whatsoever. Makes total sense, but I still feel spoiled. A lovely sensation.

John de Lancie looks incredible for his age and the wardrobe department continues to blow away my expectations. Looks like there's some real plot meat in store for Jeri Ryan, which makes me very happy.

I hope Oh's back. TrekCore notes that it sounds like her voice when the line "time is broken" is spoken, so that's promising. Happy to see Laris, even if we already knew she'd return. Now there's a new character who has received a nigh-universally solid reception.

My only worry, and I'd get over it but it'd bother me, is that Jurati isn't behind proverbial bars paying for her actions. The lighting in her spotlight shot suggests a dire locale, but it could just as easily be a ship with its power flickering or some seedy neighborhood world. I don't abhor the character and Alison Pill has done her best but man, that's the biggest ball-drop of the first season IMO. Worse than the one-note Narissa and the vanishing of Narek at the end. lol

Discovery did it wrong, doncha know? ;)

Also, this season is all about revisiting the Star Trek's Greatest hits. They will package this season, Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks all on one DVD set titled "Now that's what I call Star Trek!" Reserve your copy today.
I like Lower Decks but I don’t have high hopes for Strange New Worlds.

Interesting stuff! I'm especially intrigued by the way both Rios and Seven seem surprised by their own appearance/outfits/surroundings, as if they literally just dropped from one timeline into their own bodies in another, or something. Shame we have another six months, at least, to wait.

So...is Q in trouble with the Continuum again, and need Picard's help in sorting it out? I don't think he'd bother with the elderly Jean-Luc otherwise.

Looks like Q is going to bookend the season. Show up to first set the quest, and return to reap the rewards.

And yes, he probably gives Picard a new body. The one which was never impaled by the Naussicans.
