Hmm, from that I assume that onions are not immediately "toxic" to crabs as they are for dogs and cats.

So I had rather confusing moment related to the Crabby Horse Lady on bike ride this morning.
So as I went into the neigherborhood where she and the other lady ride, I ended up passing what I thought was them while they had stopped on the side of the road to talk to someone. I was a little confused though, because the other lady was riding a tan horse, and usually when I see them she's on a white horse. The Crabby Lady is always on a brown horse.
They looked like they were riding towards the park nearby where I take a break from my bike ride, and I did see them from a distance, so I knew I wasn't going to have to deal with them in the neighborhood.
But when I got into the neighborhood, I passed another pair of ladies, who were riding a white horse and a brown horse. The lady on the brown horse also looked like the Crabby Horse Lady, but the lady on the white horse did not like the lady who's usually on the white horse with the Crabby Horse Lady. These two were also really nice, when they asked me to stop as I was riding towards them, and then again when I asked if it was OK to go past from behind. I'm also pretty sure the lady on the tan horse was wearing an outfit I'd seen the lady on the white horse with Crabby Horse Lady wearing.

You definitely need a program ;)

I'm still of the opinion that if you're going to ride a horse on public roads, that you should be sure you have control of the horse and not rely on anyone else having to modify their behavior. YMMV.

    Program?
Definitely agree about being able to control you're horse out on the road. There's a pretty constant flow of cars and people through the neighborhood, and we're pretty deep into the city, so it's not like this is the middle nowhere where you will be out all by yourself.

We just put up a bird feeder with the suet in it. And so far only two birds have used it. It has been several days. Does anyone know how long it takes for birds to notice or get interested in a new feeder??
