Having Yeoh come back as Georgiou's wacky british cousin from the 32nd century would be idiotic. Section 31 is happening, if it wasn't Georgiou would have died in a blaze of glory or they would have found a cure for her condition and kept her in the 32nd century.

I think Georgiou is a fantastic character, but like Q, less is more. I'm glad the Section 31 idea is on hold for that reason. I think given the in universe reason for her problem in season 3 of Discovery, sending her back to TOS era makes sense.
So perhaps making her a recurring character in Strange New Worlds would suit her best.

I predict we'll see lots of crying and emotion. Burnham and her batman voice repeatjng "well do this together" all season. Theyll save the universe yet again and it will unfold slowly for 10 episodes the first 8 being boring filler.

Of course. A lot of the fans of the show like the crying. They think it makes the story more emotional. I prefer stronger writing like what we see on the orville.
I see some people can't handle raw emotion
To each their own. I know the writing is strong enough to keep me coming back to Discovery. I cannot say the same about the Orville. It actually lost me.
Honestly, this is my conclusion. The idea of human emotions presented in Star Trek is super uncomfortable in the audience and rather than embrace the discomfort there is an effort to create a mental distance between it and the viewer.

I'm still not convinced he's ever watched. He could easily just be regurgitating what others have said.

You still need the first episode (or two) to set up the mystery box and universe-saving endeavors.
So given 10 episodes, 6 episodes of tedious filler would be more accurate.
