Post a Random Fact About Yourself

I am now a widow. My dear husband of 46 years died in his sleep last Saturday. It was totally unexpected. He hadn't been ill or anything. He just didn't wake up. I am still in shock.

Agreed. I know that there are no words to how you must feel. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. That's awful. You have my sincerest condolences. I hope you have family or friends to help you through this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you, I have the support of my 3 kids and my sisters. This is so hard.

Support over here as well. I lost my first wife suddenly when I was 34. It is hard, very hard. A supportive family is something to depend on. Much more than words on a screen. Please remember you are never alone in this.

I enjoy reading recently locked threads on here. I don't mean the tame ones where somebody has resurrected a dead thread but the ones where they're determined to go out guns blazing at a world that enjoys Star Trek Discovery or something like that, before being booted from the board.

this is bad for you and you got my sympathies but then for him it's kinda good as this is the way we all want to die - healthy

True. He didn't look like he felt any pain. It took me awhile to realize he had died, because he looked like he always did sleeping.
