That answers that question.
First thing I thought of was this Big Bang Theory scene

Leonard: We all have other costumes, we can change.

Raj: Or we could walk right behind each other all night and look like one person going really fast.
That's always been one of my favorite TBBT scenes. The writers really did seem to know they stuff on it overall, most of the nerd references tended to be pretty accurate.

There was only one thing I liked in this episode, and that was the visual effects of the forces coming together. That was a gorgeous shot, and it might have F-ed up the visual effects budget but I don't care. It was beautiful. Other than that, I was pretty bored of this episode. Iris is still trying to convince Berry that Nora is his mom. She's not. Barry's mom died to start the series.

I'm not really sure I like the idea of Barry and Iris being "parents" to the forces. We already got that with Nora-West Allan and there's already not enough "Flash" in "The Flash". Also, man I miss Frost. After last week's great performance from Panabaker, she was barely in this episode this week. I can understand why, considering the make up changes and the clone tech effect they have to do, but she was noticeably absent.

There was an implicit racial element here, I thought -- the white guy saying "Why don't you understand that I'm justified in dictating other people's fates?" and not listening to the people of color around him telling him "Maybe it's not your place to decide whether other people have a right to exist." Not a good look for Barry at all.

Still, it was an effective episode otherwise. Joe's talk with Barry about parenthood was moving, and I liked the ending, how it was seeing the beauty of the Forces' "birth" that moved Barry to change his mind.

I'm not sure, but I think that aside from Psych, we didn't see anyone in costume this week.

Seven seasons in and Barry still hasn't learned a thing. Smug, arrogant, always convinced he's right and if something ever does go wrong, well let's go back in time and fix it since that worked so well all the other times.

Barry :vulcan:

They say Berry on the show.

Their accent.

It's a terrible joke.

I hated this episode.

Someone needs to remove Barry's spine so he stops being an asshole with the fate of the universe.
Being from the Midwest I can't hear the difference between Barry/Berry as there is supposed to be between Mary/marry/merry or so they say.

What's interesting is how the guy who is the Still Force says that he is a god. Barry would probably deny it but he plays god too. I mean, if deciding to alter time, thinking that you can circumvent the laws of nature by changing time without causing any side effects, erasing cosmic forces from existence, and claiming that you have the right to do it without asking permission, is not playing god, I don't what is.

I guess it is not surprising. Having cosmic forces flowing through your body, giving you incredible superpowers, probably would make anybody think they are a god. Heck, compared to mere morals, you would be a god.

The spelling of an individual's name isn't just about how it's pronounced; there are plenty of homophonous names. It's about their individual identity. There's probably a Kristoffer Bennet out there somewhere, pronounced exactly the same as my name, but that's not me, that's someone else. So Berry Allen would be someone other than Barry Allen.

Brando kept saying "Kriptin" in his 1978 monologue.

Some people n Star Wars say " Lee-a" and others say "Lay -a".

And accent is irrelevant here, because we're talking about spelling, not pronunciation. It's just basic politeness to get people's names right.
I thought Guy was talking about pronunciation (inspired by the comments about the spelling) and that's who I had quoted. Anyway...

Gee, I'm sorry I accidently put an E where there should have been an A instead. I honestly didn't think it was that big of a deal, but I did edit it.

Or Berry Alan.
