being in germany yankland kinda qualifies as abroad
I love Germany. 
Went to the Oktoberfest a few years ago, it was some of the most fun I've ever had in my life. Can't wait to do it again!

That's not actually marketed in the US (though you can sometimes find it in a US store's international food section.)

Remember when you were a kid and if you liked something but someone else didn't, suddenly you didn't like it either? I have a friend who had no problem wearing masks during the early days of the COVID pandemic, but after a few months of Fox News and QAnon, suddenly she's medically incapable of wearing a mask. I don't understand that mentality, and there's 74 million Americans like her.

Why would you want a mouse pad made of aluminum? Wouldn't that scratch the mouse and/or the desk?

Meh, I find trackpads are much easier on the wrist, hand and desk space than mice.
