Anyone else get randomly banned from r/startrek ?

I posted a reply in a thread this morning about nepotism in Star Trek. I got a few downvotes so I edited with a bunch of examples. No arguing, no name calling, nothing. I then got a couple upvotes so I was positive again and suddenly I'm banned, no message even given to me about it

Anyone else had this happen?

Nepotism is alive and well in the 23rd & 24th centuries. Edit: The downvotes seem to be ignoring A LOT of canon examples... Decker for one (I believe in the novelization his parentage is expressly listed as a reason he got the E, 09 Pike brings Kirk into the Academy and makes him first officer because of who his Dad is, Wesley's entire career is based on who his parents are, Paris was a hot shot on his way up thanks to Admiral Daddy, Mariner should have been drummed out of Starfleet but her parents protect her, Sulu's daughter helming the E - B doesn't seem like a coincidence, etc. Etc."

we live in an era where any negativity that might upset some precious delicate little flower is pounced upon.

You only have to look at how defensive people on here got ,over lower decks and discovery to see how people could react.
Take comfort in the fact that if those people are that stupid and insecure, they are not worthy of your company, dont see it as a loss for you, but their loss.

If you want to talk about nepotism in Star Trek, that’s perfectly fine.

However, let’s not bring any drama here from other sites. That’s not what this forum is for.

Getting randomly banned is part of the signature reddit experience.

People who insist on 100% positivity and sunshine all the time are as annoying as people who are 100% negative.

My question is more if they are doing a mass banning and figured this is the place to ask if others had also experienced this recently since there is some crossover between the two and posted my post to show I wasn't being belligerent or offensive. If you guys don't want that asked here that's fine.

How should I ask if others had recently been randomly banned from there? Or would asking that not be allowed at all?
