The latest season of Discovery is set a millenia after any Trek we've ever known. There already elements form Picard (the Qowat Milat,, uniform) appearing.
A major theme occuring through the season is the Temporal War. We know that it spanned centuries, and time travel technology was outlawed afterward. The Picard teaser hints at more timey-wimey.
We have Strange New Worlds in the 23rd Century, Discovery in the 32nd Century, Lower Decks and Prodigy in the 24th Century, Picard about 20 years later on the cusp of the 25th Century - could they be building to a mega-crossover event?
Lower Decks and Prodigy are animated so they might have to be separate, but on screen Trek never attempted this beyond three guest characters (and Trials and Tribble-Ations) Another complication is that shows film in different cities (Picard in California, the rest up in Canada) but television and film have changed dramatically since Enterprise ended back in 2005. We have Marvel's Avengers, The Defenders; DC's Justice League. Even Doctor Who crossed with it's two spin offs in the Series 4 finale.
Would you like to see this? If not in a movie then in a Paramount+ mini series (I'd say 60th Anniversary but that's over 5 years away!) - maybe it could be a chance for other Trek vets to reappear?
