I watched it as a kid. Like Simpsons the more mature jokes will go over their heads

Yeah. With kids nowaways setting them up is important in order to support parental awareness. I don't give a :censored: what I grew up watching or got away with. Getting away with it doesn't make it OK.

Kids'll watch it. Whatever it is you're trying to keep them from watching; they'll watch it.

No :censored:. Doesn't keep me from trying to protect my kids and being aware. I hate the hands off parenting approach of "Kids will be kids."

So do other countries still have to deal with the syndicate Simpsons versions or is it just Canada?

I’ve noticed that The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad are all rated 12+ on the site. Looks to them they are all the same

Who said anything about hands off? I just think it's better to let them read or watch whatever they like while keeping up an open dialogue about it than trying in vain to stop them and have them do it behind your back. That being said, I'm a single, childless armchair coach, so what do I know?

Apologies for my passion. This is a very hot button subject for me, and strikes a deep chord on both a professional and personal level. So I perhaps reacted poorly.

I think dialog is important but letting kids watch whatever they want is not, in my opinion, a good idea. Children lack the type of self-regulatory capacity to limit themselves. I think parental involvement is necessary, especially since very child's temperament is so different.

    So just asking this here.....

A few weeks ago I was watching GotG on D+ and had one or two moments where the audio dropped for half a second. Same thing happened with WandaVision yesterday. Anyone else had that problem with D+?

^ Actually, yes I have had the audio drop too. Seems to be a buffering issue with 4K or UHD feeds. I experience them occasionally on Amazon too. Might be a streaming issue or age of your streaming device. My 4K smart TV is 4 years old and the tech is probably not the latest for the Disney + app to be running on. YMMV

I only go for basic HD and I've never had any issues with the sound, so it's probably just a 4K issue.

I watch on through my PS4, so I'm pretty sure it's 1080p. When it first started it would occasionally freeze up, but it hasn't done that in a while now.

Can't recall any issues with Netflix or Prime. And only experienced it twice with D+. My tv is about 4 years as well.
Streaming issues is ofcourse always an option. It can never be 100% perfect.

I loved the first two Mighty Ducks films growing up, so I was very excited about the news of the reboot starring Emilio Estevez and the awesome Lauren Graham.

I just finished the first episode and I loved it. Cheesy in all of the right parts, but there was a lot of heart as well. Much like the old films. ;)

I can't believe I hadn't heard about this until now. I haven't gotten around to checking this out yet, but it's definitely on my list, and after hearing about this cameo, and some of the other character who've shown up, it's moving up.
