I have personally relegated the "klingon" ships from disco as remnant of the Hur'q design philosophy. I really like a lot of what they brought to the table, but I am of the camp that they would fit better as a much later/future design or reboot, rather than the mainstream cannon as the design as they are presented do not fit the lineage of their designs. Still, from a design and creative standpoint, awesome stuff to see.

Those kinda look like Wraith ships--have them as the Hur'q

By "those" are you referring to the DISCO Klingon ships?

    Yes..

Something just popped into my head with this latest design. Make the nacelles retractable.

    Here’s why.

I can just see this latest ship of yours plugging nose first and into a huge Klingon station. The impulse drive between those two huge aft tails?

Those all now become a scaled up giant spiral wave disruptor like on the Vor’Cha nose—but far more vast...

First: I dunno how I missed this, my apologies sir.
Second: that is a very intriguing idea... very much so. I will think on it.

Okay, here is another TMP battlecruiser, but this one was built by a different shipwright than the famed D7 and her successor the K'Tinga.

    Ko'Rech-class battlecruiser:

Nice compact design, it almost seems that it has a detachable engine module with the main engines and impulse engines in one unit that can be jettisoned.:mallory::techman:

Of course not sure Klingons would be willing to detach anything.. "NO!! WE'LL GO DOWN WITH THE ENGINES RAAAAAH!!!":klingon::klingon: *soundless spacekboom*

You know that is absolutely correct, except that that whole section is its own craft...the main hull has an auxiliary warp assembly that is integrated into it like the B'rel Bird of Prey. It is obstructed by the smaller craft.

    LOL

Here is the Kintok-class strike cruiser:

    Traitor! LOL j/k LOL
I can see the D18 only very superficially. The D18 had a brick wall for a secondary hull with a high wing. This ship is a lot more streamlined, and far less winged. (There was a reason the D18 was codenamed "Gull".)

    I think you mean K'mtar

No...the sled sky-jack's Fed cargo pods, and the sublight main ship remains behind to fight pursuers.
