New Version of the Nintendo Switch?

Looks like a new version of the Switch and Switch Lite might be coming. Saw a commercial a few moments ago that now has the list prices at $259.99 for the Lite and $399.00 for the regular model.

Is this the new 4K model that has been rumored?

4K on such a small screen would seem counterproductive.

You don't need 4K on the handheld, but the dock being able to output 4K to the TV would be nice.

Even 720p on the current screen is questionable. The Switch only has a 6.2 inch screen in handheld mode—-that’s well within the size limits (Sizes up to 19-inches) given to call 480p High-Definition. Anything over is when 480p is called “Enhanced Definition”. 6.2-inches is slightly smaller than the largest screen size (7-inches) on a portable DVD/Blu-Ray player, and DVD’s recorded in 480p look really good on those and look the same as a 1080p Blu-Ray at that size.
