ESPN is reporting that NY Mets GM Jared Porter admitted to sending explicit images to a female reporter when he was working for the Cubs; the Mets have fired his dumb ass accordingly.

Don Sutton has passed away at the age of 75.
Tyler Chatwood signs with the Blue Jays. He had some surprisingly good starts before injury in 2020, no doubt he'll have a great year somewhere else.
Oh, fine, be more specific. But essentially the same no.If the context is that both parties are willingly and enthusiastically swapping nekkid pics of each other, then yes. But that was not the context here, nor is it the context 99.99999999999999999999% of the time, so basically, no.
WTF does that leave us with? Hendricks,Quintana, that guy, that other guy and a retread? Did I miss anybody?
OK, "strike" that, Quintana signs with Oakland. I guess we should still have Alec Mills, so Hendricks, Mills and 3 other guys is now the rotation.
Want to feel really depressed?
The Cubs coughed up Eloy Jimenez and Dylan Cease for Quintana. Quintana was cost-controlled, which gave the Cubs payroll flexibility to sign Darvish.
And then they traded Darvish for some paper clips and a Subway coupon that the Padres found in a desk drawer somewhere. Meanwhile, Jimenez is going to be an all-world outfielder for the cross-town White Sox.
Hell of a return there, Cubs. Almost as great as giving up Gleyber Torres for a three-month rental of a domestic abuser.
Don Sutton has passed away at the age of 75.
Pretty much. It's sickening that the Pirates got a better return for Joe Musgrove than the Cubs did for Darvish.
That said, though, the NL Central has been a wasteland this offseason.
All told, the entire NL Central has, by my math, spent less than a million dollars in free agency this winter.
As a Cardinals fan, I am completely unsurprised by this (on the part of the Cards, at least). But it makes it hard to be disappointed anymore when your team thinks "as is" is good enough.
Sh*t, try being a Red-Legs fan.we ain't seen a ring since Reds' October, 1990.
p.s, I hate the Cards, and, and...![]()
I thought of that episode, too. I'm going to have to dig out my DVDs and rewatch it.
Just learned that Davey Johnson (former Mets manager) is in a Florida hospital battling covid![]()
