The next fan collective

As far as I'm concerned, Paramount's next Trek collective should have all six pilot episodes: The Cage, Where No Man Has Gone Before, Encounter At Farpoint, Emissary, Caretaker and Broken Bow.

They were supposed to release an "Alternate Universe" fan collective including all the Mirror Universe episodes and several fan chosen episodes.
I don't know if it got cancelled or not.
Maybe they are saving it to tie in with the new movie, which supposedly involves an alternate universe.

I'd buy an Alternate Universe collection like that. Especially for the MU episodes, most of which were really well done.

CBS was never "supposed" to release anything. They included it on a poll. Maybe it didn't attract enough interest, or the fan collectives didn't sell well enough to justify producing any more.

I'd like a Romulan fan collective :rommie: Another suggestion is Miscellaneous Bad Guys. This could include the TNG episode with Nagila. He was far scarier than Q. The other Baddies could be the Pakleds, Hirogen, 8427, Ferengi, and the Kazon. There could be the Cardassian :cardie: fan collective as well.

As a fan of TNG all I want is an "inofficial season 8" collection having the best episodes with TNG cameos over the other series DS9, VOY and ENT. I won't buy the DVD sets of these series so that's a chance for CBS to make some more doe from me and mabye other TNG fans.

BAD GUYS COLLECTIVE

Disc One

The Expanse
The Xindi
(and a few other pivotal Xindi arc episodes)

Disc Two
Mudds Women
Errand of Mercy
Day of the Dove
Balance of Terror
I mudd

Disc Three
Q Who
Best of Both Worlds
Datalore
Descent

Disc Four
The Jem'Hadar
The Search
The Die Is Cast
Call to Arms

Disc Five
Caretaker
Phage
Basics
Scorpion
Year of Hell
Killing Game

A Cardassian fan collective would be nice. It would include mostly DS9 episodes; with 'The Wounded', 'Ensign Ro', and 'Chain of Command' thrown in. I'd buy that.

You might run out of material for MU episodes. From memory, all I recall are:

In a Mirror Darkly, parts one and two
Mirror Mirror
Crossover
Through the Looking Glass
Shattered Mirror
Resurrection
The Emperors New Cloak

That isn't quite enough to fill four DVDs, which is what the Fan Collectives usually are. You might have to throw in a couple of other alternate timeline episodes to fatten it out, like 'Yesterday's Enterprise' or 'Living Witness' (the closest thing VOY got to an 'evil version of the crew' episode)

I'd like a Mirror Universe fan collective (with Yesterday's Enterprise, Parallels, Living Witness, Timeless, Author, Author, and Twilight and Past Tense thrown in to bring it up to a full four discs), a Romulan Fan Collective and a Birth of the Federation fan collective collecting all the Vulcan and Andorian episodes from Enterprise along with Broken Bow, Demons and Terra Prime.

Tholian Web ties in directly with the In A Mirror Darkly, so I'd think you'd want that included.
TOS "Enemy Within" also had an evil twin to some extent (as I suppose did the Tom Riker episodes of TNG and DS9)

That was exactly what they said they were gonna do when they announced the collection.
