Villains art Challenge, WIP

This time most of my "work" is going to happen inside Krita, so there is not much to look at. But here is a test render of the only asset that I have to create in Blender. I know it differs from its depiction in the show, but its close enough for its purpose. And also thats kind of the point of what I want to do with it.

Because: "When an honorable servant of te people is corrupted by an evil foreign spirit. And an army of genetically modifyed supersoldiers from the gamma quadrant unleashes terror upon the innocent. A man has to stand up and fight.....FOR CARDASSIA!"

I love that you are doing something with a Tear of the Prophets! Looking forward to what you are going to do with it in Krita. I had to google what exactly Krita is, and it looks to be a free program similar to Photoshop, correct?

Thanks. I am thinking half the day about what color Cardassians would associate with evil. Good to know that I can stick with this.

Yes. This is the first project I am using such a program. Already running into lots of problems. Without YouTube-tutorials I would have given up already. But its all fine...sometimes one has to leave his comfort zone to learn something new (was starting to feel like a one trick pony). Setting up the nodes for the chrystal orb and fiddeling with krita already payed off....although the result is not going to be praiseworthy at all.

Little update on "For Cardassia" the certainly not very close to "reality" cardassian Action-Holo-Programm.

After somewhat frustrating first experiences I am starting to figure it out. Well its certainly not great, but I still got half a month. Next would be finishing the orb and include it. After that its getting even more painful because I am planing to have all the text on the cover in cadassian. Also some Logos would be nice...(also this is much to big as I just found out)
