There's two things I would not want a Kelvin film to go anywhere near: the MU and the Borg.

If they were smart, they'd make one final movie just to get the ship and crew home.

But I'm not counting on it. They'd waste it on another Beyond, hoping to revitalize the movie franchise, with the possibility of still one more movie afterward. And then once again be left hanging.

They got their trilogy. It's on them if they didn't plan it better let alone keep the momentum alive.

All I know is that six months ago, the project for a 4th movie was said to be still alive, only in stasis.. How long will that stasis last? I hope they'll manage it before the cast starts dying of old age.
