The pressing question of the season: Is Adam Sandler's "Chanukah Song" still canon when you toss Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Ethan Peck into the mix?

This.
Calling anything that she's done "criminal" is just overacting the same way she did. The neverending war...
Let's inquisite (sic) the inquisitors!!!![]()
Yes, that was the joke I made, which you questioned for some reason while I was working. Then Orphalesion and 1001001 were doing their own jokes, and you questioned them.
I mean, The Drumhead is one of the funniest episodes of TNG, but you're treating it like high art that should be dissected and analyzed.
In her own words, Satie was brought out of retirement to investigate the incident involving J'Dan.Satie was already retired and was just there as some kind of consultant. I'm guessing they just quietly shuffled her back to wherever, and made sure to never bring her back to "assist" with any special investigations again, ever.
And she didn't do a very good job but to call her a criminal is going overboard IMO.In her own words, Satie was brought out of retirement to investigate the incident involving J'Dan.
Chris Pike in the Menagerie. Jeff Hunter played him in the "flashbacks" from the Cage pilot. Sean Kenney played the "modern day" injured Pike.In recent years a lot of major Trek roles have been recast and played by different actors, but I was wondering which was the very first one? The first that I can remember is Ziyal on DS9 who was originally played by Cyia Batten and then later by Tracy Middendorf and Melanie Smith. It seems like there had to be someone earlier from TOS or TNG, but I'm drawing a blank. Anyone?
Duh. I knew there was someone obvious I was forgettingSaavik
Good point. I would never have thought of him but I guess Pike would qualify as the very first recast.Chris Pike in the Menagerie. Jeff Hunter played him in the "flashbacks" from the Cage pilot. Sean Kenney played the "modern day" injured Pike.

And try as you may, you couldn't imagine two actresses more different for the same role!! As a matter of fact, the first time I saw TSFS it took me a while to realize that the second Vulcan woman was supposed to be the same one we saw in TWOK.
Just a Trek question...
At the end of Deadlock, Voyager had its full complement, plus two corpses: Naomi Wildman, dead in childbirth, and Harry Kim, killed by decompression. Both corpses, of course, were replaced by their living counterparts from the ill-fated "other Voyager".
So the question is... what did they do with the corpses? Put them in torpedo cases and shoot them into space? Stick them in cold storage? Or just use the transporter to dematerialize them?
Replicator fodder. Waste not. Want not.Just a Trek question...
