I'm not picking on Tilly, I'm a huge Tilly fan.... She did the best she could given the circumstances, and so did the crew the scenes just looked a bit off, too easy.
She really didn't...

She could have cloaked the moment the ship was detected, she could have run away, she could have moved the ship after it cloaked instead of sitting in the exact same spot, she could have locked down the computer, she could have ordered Stamets to be sitting in the jump cage ready to go at a microseconds notice, she could have ordered everyone to arm themselves in case of boarding parties, she could have tried to fight since the Chain was trying to take the ship intact and would have been at a major disadvantage in a military conflict.

No. It's not the screenwriters who create plot holes, but negative fans come up with other reasons to hate the series. Why, for example, do you even think that a DASH drive can be installed in any ship and more importantly, that the writers think so? Those rotating parts of Discovery are not without reason.

Why do people think the Spore Drive CANNOT be installed on other ships?
Its actually quite ludicrous to assume you need a spinning saucer section just to do that.
The Klingons were gunning for Discovery in Season 1 and wanted to get the technology... so, if 23rd century can do it... I see no reason the 32nd can'.t

Playing Monday morning quarterback with fictional characters is idiotic.

We're way past that. Apparently every audience member is qualified to command a starship. Clearly we know everything the characters do, and are not impeded by pesky things like emotions.
There a serious inability to distinguish between reality and fiction happening sometimes.

I'm sure it can, but what fireproof said holds true. Osyraa has every reason to suspect that Starfleet has this technology, and needs to stop them ASAP. Plus, her beef is with Starfleet, not the Discovery folks. The jump technology is incredibly advantageous, and will need to be exploited, but she already has adequate transwarp and probably slipstream capability right now. Best to focus on one thing at a time: Take out Starfleet first, during this very narrow window, and then reverse engineer whatever is useful.

But taking out Starfleet Headquarters won't take out Starfleet.

At best it will just slow them down a bit as the 30 some planets still part of the Federation build a new HQ.

Taking out Starfleet Headquarters in 2375 wouldn't have handed final victory to the Breen or the Dominion but it would have been a major blow and the attack on San Francisco was indeed a moral victory in the eyes of the Dominion. Osyraa is just the latest Star Trek villain who has to piece together victory from individual triumphs on the battlefield.

The more I think about this, the more it seems obvious that there's a mole at Starfleet or on the Discovery.

It has become obvious to the CNC as well, based on that teaser where he is ordering his people to lock down all non essential coms.

Starfleet just sent half it's fleet to interdict her own fleet actions at Kaminar. either controlling or being able to disable or completely take out or control Starfleet headquarters would give her free reign in the Galaxy. It makes sense that would be the first thing she would try after gaining control of The USS Discovery. if she's successful she removes a major impediment to her organization and gains control of valuable technology.

Haven't caught up on discourse on this particular topic yet, but in case folks are unhappy with the source of the Burn but they haven't considered every factor: remember, we still need to find out what triggered Su'Kal's uh, little outbreak. I personally enjoy the twist thus far but I look forward to discovering the rest.
