And the Next Cancelled Show is...

I think that's more a sign of your age than anything. If you grew up watching the Disney Channel in the Aughts, Radio Disney was a huge deal, because that's where all the music from Disney Channel stars was played. Radio Disney is going away now because the kids that watch Disney Channel shows aren't using the radio to listen to music.
Possibly. I’m 50. I likely outgrew Disney before it came to the radio and it just kind of passed me by.

I first heard of it during the years when Miley Cyrus was still doing her Hannah Montana schtick. A local author wanted to do a signing of his shitty kids' picture book at the Barnes & Noble where I was working. The only way my manager would let the clown in the door was when he promised to bring "DJ Mickey" from the local Radio Disney affiliate and give away a pair of tickets to an upcoming Miley Cyrus concert. The whole thing was an enormous waste of time; the kids were only interested in the concert tickets, and DJ Mickey's "dance party" drove off customers who were looking to spend a quiet day browsing.

Well, it does seem to be headed towards the conclusion, so I'm happy with that. I really enjoy this show.
Yeah, but I'm a little worried hpw the season will be only eight episodes long like the first two, but The Amber Spyglass is much longer and denser than the first two with even more characters. Something will definitely be lost in the adaptation.

It's worst for me. I never knew it was ever around. Never heard of it until now.

Jason

Yeah, anyone with kids in the late 90s and early 2000s had Radio Disney as a setting on the car radio. I have to admit there were quite a few catchy tunes back in the day that were generated from Disney shows, and not all of them were Hannah Montana songs. LOL.

Well, yeah, but that always happens. It's rather a given, isn't it?

So, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has just aired it's last season (or as they called it "part") with season 4.

And I gotta say by now it was a mercy kill. A show that started as atmospheric and creepy had, by Season 3 devolved into a screeching mess. The constant plot twists, the constant creation and rapid abandonment of plot lines...the costant Musical numbers... and stuff like Satan degenerating into a ineffectual sitcom dad.

It's a pity, because much of the cast and characters were excellent, but their mythology became more and more muddled and nonsensical as they went along and they failed to commit to their own premise.

And that's before the fac that the last episode
Portrayed Nick committing suicide so that he can join Sabrina in the afterlife as positive and romantic.... In a show aimed primarily at teenagers!
