So from my understanding DISCO/STD has been showing off some 32nd century starships that feature "floating" parts. Now, I've done plenty future trek ships back in the day, and by that I mean like from late 1990's to early 2000's. I've done gaming models for mods for ST games, that have "floaty bits", and designed starships that had them as well, such as the Helios and Raiden classes to name a couple... But now I have decided to do some more. So I hope you enjoy these in this Thread:

Of the three, the Apogee almost looks like we might have seen it. There was a scout ship being mentioned with "unknown range" which I think could very easily be influenced by it.

Honestly, I wonder why they didn't tap you for the 32nd century designs. You've got a lot of semi-organic and unique stuff lying around, it would've saved them a lot of time.

Yep, very Atolm, really interesting designs, and like @BorgMan said, you've got that knack for lines that are semi organic and of course for asymetrical designs that somehow work really well. :mallory:

So, I'm so far of the opinion that S3 DSC is like ENT only in the future instead of the past, that is, TPTB wanted to do something very different only to keep things too the same. Given how different the Enterprise is from TOS to TNG in less than 100 years, you'd think nearly another thousand later, Starfleet ships would be near or completely unrecognizable by then, especially (though not limited to) if technology expanded exponentially as it seems to whenever the crew needs a miracle to save the day in an episode. You'd think by the 32nd Century they'd be completely energy-based or something.

All that said, I like these ships more than most if not all we've seen on screen for the Federation in the 32nd Century. Were you thinking about the Relativity or other ships from the 29th Century when you conjured these? I kinda see it a bit in the second one. Though one and three are probably my favorites. Is the lower nacelle ring unattached in the third one? So cool! Wonderfully creative @Atolm.

Oh I agree, atolms designs would be awesome for the future ships, especially all the off center designs :techman:

I updated the first Post with my new Scorpio-class

    Thanks bro!!!

Thanks! I do have an Enterprise R that I was playing with (this is just a digital sketch, but the idea is that the interior would be the same, but the ship as a whole was programmable matter, so it could change shape as it was needed for the mission/situation):

Sternbach ended his chronology with two similar concepts IIRC.

I’d love to see more of those ships, the Flying Fortress, etc

I'll see what I can come up with.

In the meantime, here is a Klingon future starship:

    Looks good!

Honestly the ships they made up for the klingon in disco season 1 would not look out of place in the 31st century.

While the others still have something Starfleet going on, I think I'm less thrilled about the Scorpio. As in: I like the general shape, just not as a Starfleet ship. It might be a bit too aggresive for my taste. I do think, however, that with a bit of tweaking it could be a nice Vulcan ship. Or maybe a nice Vulcan/Romulan hybrid. Let's see what "Unification: Part III" brings...

I hope that saucer is attached to something, it would be seriously embarassing to show up at a starbase while the bloody thing is still floating around in spacedock..:whistle:;):p

The Cardassia is cool, might need a splash of orange to make Cardassians feel at home more but nice design. :mallory:

Your future Federation designs somehow have a heavy egyptian vibe for me. YOU should have worked on the Stargate shows man. This is all great stuff, but the apogee and the alliance are standing out. Also the Romulan one. Never dissapointed when looking at jour work...and you've set the bar pretty high.:techman:
