Also what the heck happened to Earth's sensor network that made it so it has less range then even a single TNG era starship?
Heck, that listening post from episode 1 of the season had like 400+ly short range sensor ranges...
They were in the rollercoaster that is the turbo lift.Question three, where did they get those repair shuttles from when they used up all their small craft less then 24 hours ago fighting control?
Yea... At this point you really have to wonder what the Writers were smoking here...Do sensors work in subspace? And what about subspace communications? It should not be affected by the Burn since it is not related to dilithium. Starfleet should still be able to communicate via subspace.
If the subspace communication relays all exploded during the Burn because they had dilithium for some reason, there wouldn't be subspace communication and no way to travel to the relay locations to rebuild them.Do sensors work in subspace? On another note: a post-Federation Earth is something I never thought I'd see in Star Trek. Makes me even more curious about what the V'Draysh are like and where Starfleet Command now is.
This is my current interpretation is that the Burn wasn't just dilithium exploding but disrupting the fabric of subspace making communications, warp drive and frequent travel more hazardous, at least for a time.Which makes me wonder if this goes beyond just the Burn destroying dilithium and starships. If subspace communications and sensors are affected then this could be something in the space-time continuum that rippled across the galaxy and disrupted not only a physical element but electronic communications and transmissions. The Temporal Wars scoring one last strike to harm one of the combatants?
Wouldn't be ironic if it's all now on Bajor?
I would like to think he returned in like 6 months after DS9 to be with Jake, his wife, and new kid. But I suppose nothing's stopping him from fixing the Burn first and then going back in time for that.Sisko is timeless now, being with the Prophets and all, and his return has been rumored... Might he be enticed to help rebuild the Federation?
That's been the question. That kind of threw me for a loop.

The finger is covering some of the registry.View attachment 18490
Had to do a double-take. It's not from the Voyager museum!
Does anyone know which ship this might be from?
There's nothing saying the Romulan drive doesn't use dilithium in some way, they even mine it on Remus. The Romulans developed their dilithium-less warp drive hundreds of years previously

Apparently, the new Starfleet Academy show is set on New Earth. Could it be the place where the Federation headquarters are now?
