Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

I like it. I like the bits of red in her hair, that's a nice callback to Kate's red wig.
IGN has an article about the new suit, which includes quotes from executive producer Caroline Dries, and Javicia Leslie, and reveals that she'll start wearing it in episode 3.

Nice. Plenty of nods to the original costume, yet different enough to be its own thing. Also lets everyone know that there's a new Batwoman in town.
 
The suit does look good - as has been the case for pretty much every costume in the Arrowverse - but good-looking threads can't make up for the show's producers making a mistake, IMO, in creating the Ryan Wilder character in the first place.
 
Bit early to judge that.

I'm looking forward to this, from everything I've seen so far it looks like it could be real good. Yeah it sucks the show had to drop Kate, but it is what it is, hope the show continues to be as good or better and lasts a long time.

On the plus side, Kate is now available for a big screen debut... ;)
 
Nothing spectacular, and somewhat Photoshopped publicity photos rarely do justice to the actual costume from any production.

Not really.

Greg Berlanti coming to the conclusion that the series didn't need to bother recasting the role of Kate - the central character of the series - despite Season 1's storyline having been left unfinished due to the pandemic makes zero logical sense.

I hope you won't come into the Season 2 thread every week to complain.
 
I'm still holding out hope that we might see Ruby Rose as Kate again at some point. The fact that they didn't recast or kill Kate makes me think that we might see her at least one more time at some point.

FOr me... the fact that SOphie didn't take over is just mindboggling to me. If they had done that, they would still have a black Batwoman, with a relatively easy change in writing and casting
