The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

If somebody already asked and you answered, I didn't spot it, so please forgive a possibly repeated question.

@Starfury , what is the story behind those mindbogglingly fantastic miniature interiors?! Are they items for purchase? Or, were they crafted, possibly your own efforts?!

They are just card and paper sets and were indeed crafted by my own efforts. :) I have a couple "Making of"s on my deviantartpage, if you are interested. Here is the link: https://www.deviantart.com/damon1984/gallery/69634794/project-ghost-stories

Great job- wonderful work!
Thank you! Now I can include her in my pictures.

Oh, that's great! I always love to look at stuff like this and getting new ideas and inspirations.
And I see that you also let your little people help with the hard work!

What's the boat?

Not sure what you mean? It's just a boat?
I got it in my local furniture store, in the decorations section. I didn't even pay a cent for it as they had sent me a voucher for my birthday. And you can even take in the sails, as you can see in my following pictures! 10 Euros (not) well spent!

I'm glad they made it. Heard they got lost on their way to the lake ;) :D
Oh! Hm! What happens next? Is there more? Trying to find out whether it is better or worse than what happens in my story... Some days ago I was trying to clean my kitchen table, when all of a sudden I realized that if there is no wind, Chakotay will have to row:

Oh no, he lost an oar!

And while trying to fish it out, he lost the other one as well! No wind, no oars, what will they do now?!?

^The water and starry sky backgrounds are great! Very romantic! It will be very funny if you make me more of a J/C shipper. I was always a reluctant one lol!

Hehe, it would be an honor! I'm not a fully dedicated shipper like others are, but I sure see no way these two are NOT together, the way they act in the series.

"I guess you'll have to jump in," Kathryn said.
"Is that an order?"
"No, but I don't see any other way."

Chakotay gave her one of his imperceptible nods and in he went, uniform and all.

Kathryn grabbed the life ring.
"Here, let me help you!"

"Kathryn, noooo!"
But there was nothing Chakotay could do. Just watch in horror as Kathryn fell into the water.

And a wind came, blew up a sail and the boat went off without them.

That answered the question. I was wondering what kind of model it was.

And a clever story teller too! How charming! :adore:
Thanks!
And now, the conclusion ;)

When Kathryn was too exhausted to swim, Chakotay told her to get into the life ring and then pushed it along. Finally they reached an island.

Chakotay fell on the ground, utterly exhausted. Kathryn stroked his temple.

When Chakotay stopped coughing up water Kathryn took him into her arms. Not long ago he had held her like this on the boat. Now they could not stop the holodeck program, nor they had been able to contact the bridge.

"Look, they have bananas!" Kathryn pointed out.

"What is it always with you and monkeys?" asked Chakotay while looking for a way to climb the banana tree.

"Seriously, what is it with you and monkeys?"

"That's an ape!"

But Chakotay had not plucked the bananas so she could feed all the monkeys!

Then the monkey/ape/whatever decided Chakotay's arm was more comfortable.
He couldn't help but being charmed by it.

TO BE CONTINUED

PS: Of course Chakotay with the monkey / ape was inspired by this picture:

That's a chimp, so it's an ape.
Rebels-Collage number two. :)

You're really making me want an MCU/Star Wars crossover.
I have to admit, I hadn't heard or thought of Sabine as a possibility for the girl in the hood in The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer, but I could see it. If they are bringing in Asokha, then it would make sense for Sabine to pop up too.

Thanks!

I love it! I’d never seen the photo with the chimp; at first I was afraid it was going to turn into a Rose & Jack thing from Titanic lol!

If you’re going to be stranded on an island you wouldn’t have to worry with Janeway around because SCIENCE. She’d triangulate your location using stars and rig a transmitter to signal for help using banana coconut shells and sand.

The monkey thing also made me think of @Jayson who has a well known thing for monkeys lol.

is there an Armus action figure? considering the impact of the character, one would think there would be, but I don’t think that there is.

I don't remember ever seeing one, and when I tried searching Star Trek Armus on Amazon, all I got was the Skin of Evil VHS.

That's a chimp, so it's an ape.

Thank you! Yes, I actually learnt that through this story on Twitter. Someone explained that if they have no tails they are apes. I still left the monkey in as a call-back to "Resolutions" and the monkey at New Earth.

LOL sounds more like MacGyver! But they're still in the holodeck, would it work there as well?
And no, never could do a Jack/Rose thing! My stories are always funny and happy ones.

On to the big finale!

"The bananas would taste better if we baked them."

"You know how I am with starting a fire!"

But later, when Chakotay held her in his arms watching the sunset, he thought that being stranded wasn't so bad after all.

When the fire went out they went to bed. Moss was their pillow and palm leaves were their blanket.

"Good night, Kathryn."

"Good night, Chakotay."

Both, on cue: "Good night, monkeys!"

The next morning: "Captain, Commander, are you alright?" the doctor asked. Tuvok just raised an eyebrow.

"We are well," Kathryn replied. "Just preserving body heat. Thanks for getting us!"

But Chakotay could still feel her lips on his.

I'm likely getting this tomorrow with some reservations about its quality but there's just enough about it(including the carded Stormtrooper figure) that I like to justify the purchase if I can get one.
