Spoilers Scenes you'd love to see (but probably won't)

F. King Daniel

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
I was thinking how amazing it'd be if, in Picard season 2 Synth Picard met and discussed life and mortality with Spock Two, the giant clone from TAS "The Infinite Vulcan" (probably played by an aged up Ethan Peck or Zachary Quinto to look like Nimoy Spock did in the last movies). Both are copies of great men, neither of whom asked to exist. There's got to be a lot of deep stuff there.

And Spock Two is 25 feet tall, which makes it absurd and thus ten times more amazing.

What scenes would you love to see that you probably won't?

A heated debate between Picard, Sisko and Janeway about their more dubious command decisions (For example, for Sisko about his poisoning of the Maquis planet, and his getting the Romulans into the war, for example for Picard how he was prepared to let species die out just for the PD, or his initial reluctance to blow up the ship in FC, for Janeway for example her behaviour in Equinox or Endgame).

Mine all relate to First Contact/DS9.

pre First Contact, I want to see Sisko’s rage filled face when an Admiral tells him to send the Defiant to Earth to fight the Borg but he can’t go or send any of his command crew except for Worf.

then post First Contact I’d like to see Chief O’Brien lose his shit when he sees how badly the Defiant was beat up and how much work he’s got ahead of him.

I want to see a scene were Q and Guinan hash out their differences and we finally come to understand whatever history they have.

I want to see what happens to the Voyager crew after they get home.
How does Janeway explain her actions to the admiralty? Does she lie? Some of her actions do take some explaining...
How does Seven respond to being back home? Does anything happen between her and Chakotay? Between Janeway and Chakotay?
Are the Wildmans reunited with their husband/father?
Are the Maquis pardoned? What about the Equinox crew?
Do Harry and Tom go out to the real Sandrine's and celebrate their arrival home (and Harry finally making lieutenant)?
And why did they promote Janeway to admiral? To reward her for her actions? Or to keep a loose cannon on a short leash?

They should've done what DS9 did. Wrap up the action and then show where everyone ends up.

I'd love a Short Trek featuring The Sisko returning from the wormhole and meeting his grown up son. It'd be a real tear jerker, explaining what happened to Odo and Nog. Show some scenes with Kira and Quark. The story doesn't matter so much and it could be done cheap. You just need a CG model of DS9, a CG recreation of Nog's ship for a flashback and a DS9 style window - then just use an existing 'quarters' set from DSC.

Then again, maybe DS9 has perfect closure.

How about a Short Trek with an embittered old Harry Kim, lamenting to his son (who is a Captain) that his career was destroyed after Voyager as he was never promoted.

If indeed that happened, Harry had plenty of company in career limbo. There were a bunch of ensigns on Voyager, some of them with more seniority than Kim, and they received the same treatment.

I said a couple of these before in the Michael Burnham Kelvinverse thread, but seeing Kelvin Michael who was raised by her parents and personality is more like Sonequa, as some happily married civilian scientist with daughter in tow hanging out with Zachary Quinto Spock on some mission. Or seeing Prime Michael and Prime Sybok interacting with one another, as they shit talk each other's accomplishments and personalities as the emotional Vulcan and unemotional Human.
I always wanted the Ferengi starfleet leading an assault on the Dominion with their big Marauders, maybe as part of a joint strike fleet with the Tamarians and other heavy hitters. Someone on the AV Club DS9 reviews was saying how fun it would have been if in The Sacrifice of Angels that instead of Klingons you had the Tamarians ride in and over the comm you hear "Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel!"
