Given that I could rarely find the Trek Megos in the US I am imagining it will do quite well.

(I really want one of those Discovery studio-scale models, I can't find them anywhere though; ANOVOS no longer have them so I guess I'll have to luck up and find it... )

According to this article, the new Mego section in Walmart will include the new Discovery Saru, and may have already started appearing in October.

I doubt it. Trek figures dont tend to go up in price.

I’m still miffed that Hungary got ‘Beyond-themed ship-shaped cup toppers and the United States didn’t.

I’ll never have enough dough to hire enough hit-men to rid us of all the toy execs who say “Trek doesn’t sell.”

Saru looks like an alien Freddy Kruger to me, .

I used the store locator and some stores near me supposedly carry the Mego line, but the closest one to me did not have any Mego figures at all. So be aware of that with the store locator.
