So the show takes place in Wanda's subconsciousness where she is recreating a possible life with Vision? I was thinking that Vision was going to be brought back somehow.

In the comics, Wanda has been so powerful at times that something being real in her head is all it took to translate it to the real world.

As we have a trailer, I'm going to start am anticipation thread.

You are correct of course. But this Wanda seems to have much different power set than the comics.

It looks like Wanda has taken over a real town and is reshaping reality within it. At the end of the trailer we see Monica getting blasted out of it and through the barrier separating it from the rest of the world.

Nice easter egg on the bottle of wine too.

Also, we have Agatha Harkness in this too. That's Kathryn Hahn's character. She may be trying to use Wanda for something and causes this, or is trying to stop this.

That's just a theory, we still haven't gotten an official announcement of who she's playing.

Judging by the scene with Kathryn Hahn in the car, it looks like she might have either made a new Vision or brought him back to life somehow.
Florence Pugh has said that she would love to do more Marvel movies, but that they are waiting to see how fans react to Yelena before they decide if she will or not.
I was kind of expecting her to already be doing more movies, but I can see waiting to make sure people actually like her before they do more with her.

I'll gladly take that bet because I don't even think for a minute they're going to go this route.

Why wouldn't they? The real She-Hulk hasn't been seen in the comics for 4 years, its been all PTSD/"Female Banner" She-Hulk. They tend to take elements of newer comics for the MCU, and with the normal hulk now "smart" Hulk (or just Banner, mentally) , they'd probably want to have a contrast.

I mean, it doesn't really matter. The shitty casting and writer has already ruined the show regardless of what version they go with. When a show is already guaranteed to make Inhumans look like Daredevil quality wise, stuff like what version of She-Hulk it uses is really just details.

The merged Hulk was from the comics 29 years ago. Infinity Gauntlet not much after. They get a pretty good sample from the comics history, I think. Except for most of the Guardians and (sort of) Tony Stark, the origins and characters are pretty close to what's looked at as their recognizable and classic versions in the comics. Bucky's original death, seen on screen was from '64! Within the limitations of the MCU, of course (Wanda couldn't be a mutant, etc). And I'd argue that most of these changes have worked out for the better, but one's mileage may vary.

Turns out the Hoopla library also has the relatively recent Charles Soule run on She-Hulk where she quit her job at a big firm (a different big firm than the one in the Dan Slott run) and went into private practice, doing things like helping Dr. Doom's son apply for asylum and defending Captain America in a wrongful death suit (with Matt Murdock as the plaintiff's attorney). Apparently Soule's an actual lawyer, so there was some good insight into how the legal profession works and how it engages with a superhero universe. I guess that's another direction the show could take, though the whole "tiny struggling law firm" angle is a bit too much like Netflix's Daredevil or even Jessica Jones. Although the big-firm angle might feel kind of like Iron Fist season 1, come to that.

Speaking of which, the Soule run has Patsy Walker/Hellcat as Jen's sidekick/investigator, which wouldn't work in the MCU, assuming Disney+ acknowledges the Netflix continuity.

Hoopla also has the even more recent thing where Jen turns into a more bulky and savage grey Hulk and apparently goes in a darker, less funny direction. I'm not inclined to read that, unless someone tells me it's really brilliant or something. I prefer her as a comedy character, although the three different runs I've read have gotten progressively more subtle and less meta in their humor.

I do recommend the Soule She-Hulk run. I think the art is a bit poor, but it's a fun story and it does get the law mostly right. He's an immigration attorney, so the fact that the first arc deals with the deadlines to file asylum sold me on the story. His Daredevil run is a bit shakier when it gets into criminal law, but it's still pretty good.

Yeah, the Netflix Patsy Walker flat out wouldn't work. It's a shame because I love the comics character and actually liked the first season of the character (I thought it was the right choice for Jessica Jones given both characters' history).

So I like Mariko Tamaki's run a lot. I think it has a very beautiful, somber tone. It explores themes of anxiety and depression wonderfully. But it's not a funny story, that's for sure. There's some meta stuff in the final arc as She-Hulk recovers from depression.
